Your Guardian® REAL-Time Continuous Glucose Monitoring System is compact, comfortable, and easy to wear and use. The small, comfortable, and discreet rechargeable transmitter connects directly to the glucose sensor and sends data wirelessly to the monitor, which can be up to 6 feet away. And the MiniLink™ REAL-Time Transmitter and glucose sensor are waterproof, allowing you to shower, bathe, and engage in water activities.1

The MiniLink REAL-Time Transmitter wirelessly transmits data collected by the glucose sensor to the monitor.

The Guardian REAL-Time System includes:

  • Monitor
  • MiniLink REAL-Time Transmitter and charger
  • Glucose Sensor

Monitor

Your Guardian REAL-Time System monitor is small, discreet, and easy to wear — it can be attached to your belt, hidden in your pocket, or placed under your clothing.

MiniLink REAL-Time Transmitter and Charger

So small it makes a big difference — the MiniLink REAL-Time Transmitter is a key component of the Guardian REAL-Time System. Exceptionally small, lightweight, and ergonomically shaped, the transmitter can be worn while swimming, bathing or showering without worries.1 Its tiny rechargeable battery allows for 3 days of continuous use on a 20-minute recharge, and up to 14 days of continuous use on a full recharge.

The MiniLink REAL-Time Transmitter kit includes the transmitter, charger, and tester.

Glucose Sensor

The tiny glucose sensor is easily inserted, virtually painlessly, under the skin using an autoinsertion device that comes with the system.

While the Guardian REAL-Time Continuous Glucose Monitoring System is water-resistant and designed to protect against splashes and occasional dunking, Medtronic Diabetes recommends that no continuous glucose monitoring system should be intentionally submerged in water.
