When used with the available glucose sensor and MiniLink™ Transmitter components, the MiniMed Paradigm 522 or 722 Insulin Pump displays on-screen REAL-Time data to help you understand more about your glucose control
- Displays updated glucose values every five minutes.
- Displays 3-hour and 24-hour glucose trend graphs, as well as arrows that indicate how fast, and in what direction, glucose is moving.
- Designed to alert patients to potentially dangerous low blood sugar and high blood sugar episodes by sounding an alarm or vibrating.
- Requires a minimum of two calibrations each day (one every 12 hours). A confirmatory fingerstick using a standard blood glucose meter is required prior to making self-management or therapy decisions.
