Medtronic Diabetes Certified Product Trainers
Patient education is another time-consuming activity for physicians. Rather than giving that responsibility to already-overwhelmed providers, we handle it with a nationwide network of certified product trainers. All Medtronic Diabetes product trainers are required to be licensed healthcare providers - assuring a high-standard of quality care.
Becoming a Medtronic Diabetes Product Trainer
Licensed healthcare professionals are eligible to become a Medtronic Diabetes Product Trainer. The following must be accomplished in order to become a Medtronic Diabetes Certified Product Trainer:
- Successful demonstration of the operation of the Medtronic Diabetes insulin pump following hands-on experience. This demonstration will be done for a Medtronic Diabetes Nurse Specialist.
- Completion of the Product Trainer Application.
- Complete the trainer test after studying the Product Trainer Manual and the Medtronic Diabetes Product User's Guide.
- Submit the test to the Medtronic Diabetes Nurse Specialist.
