Sharing your insulin and glucose data

The MiniMed GoTM system can share your insulin and glucose data in reports for you and your healthcare provider (HCP) to review. The data can automatically be uploaded to your healthcare providers clinic for easy access. 

To confirm your system is automatically uploading complete the following steps:

  1. On the Home screen of the MiniMed Go app tap the Profile Icon in the top right corner.​
  2. Tap CareLink​.
  3. Confirm that Sync to CareLink is toggled ON, if it is not do so now.​
  4. Tap the back arrow and then the X to exit out.​

Sharing data with your healthcare team:​
Your healthcare provider needs to have CareLinkTM Clinic to generate and review your reports. Please have them reach out to MiniMed at 1-800-646-4633 if they need help accessing it.​

Sharing data with your care partners: ​
A care partner is someone like a family member or friend who you want to have access to your data to help keep you safe. They are able to see your data through the CarelinkTM Connect app.

 

There might be times you find yourself logged out your MiniMed Go app. Some reasons this might occur include not using the app for some time, moving the app from one device to another or updates to the CareLinkTM software. No worries, you need to simply log back in.​

 

Sharing your data with care partners

The CareLink Connect app allows you to share your MiniMed Go system data and alerts with up to five care partners. The app does not need to be downloaded to your phone; it is for those that want to view your data.

For the care partner:​

  1. Download and install the CareLink Connect app.​
    Apple App Store →
    Google Play Store → 
  2. Create a CareLink Personal account.​
  3. Log into the app.
  4. Send a follow request by entering the user’s CareLink username​. If you do not know the Username you will need to ask the person with diabetes to share it with you.​ You can follow up to 5 system users.​
  5. Let the person with diabetes know you requested to follow them, they will also be notified via their email. The request expires after 24 hours.​

For the MiniMed Go system user:​

Once your care partner has requested to follow you from the CareLink Connect app, you will need to accept the request in the MiniMed Go app.​

  1. From the Home screen, select the Profile menu in the top right corner. 
  2. Tap CareLink. 
  3. Tap Manage care partners. 
  4. Tap the down arrow. 
  5. Tap Approve to allow viewing.​

Once approved, you can Suspend Access or Remove your care partner if needed.​

Remember to make sure your sync is turned on in your app so your care partners can view your data.
