Ali Dianaty

Ali is Senior Vice President of  Product Innovation and Operations at MiniMed Group, Inc., with end-to-end responsibility for diabetes technology—from product design and clinical outcomes to global regulatory approval—along with oversight of worldwide operations. He and his team are deeply committed to the diabetes community and take pride in delivering technologies that meaningfully improve people’s lives.  

Ali has served as Senior Vice President of Product Innovation & Operations at Medtronic Diabetes since 2021 and maintained this role through the company’s separation and IPO as MiniMed Group, Inc. Ali drives a strategy centered on empowering customers, advancing impactful innovation, and ensuring consistent, high-quality manufacturing at scale. Ali joined Medtronic Diabetes in 2016 to lead R&D, and his prior experience includes St. Jude Medical and The Boeing Company.  

His leadership is grounded in integrity, common sense, and adaptability. He embraces change as a constant, views failure as feedback, and believes growth comes from stepping beyond one’s comfort zone. He is guided by the principle that effort, attitude, and approach determine outcomes—and that true leadership is about leading by example and inspiring others to dream, learn, do, and become more.  

Based in Los Angeles, he lives with his wife and two teenage children. Together, they enjoy traveling, discovering new foods, and sharing a love of F1, racing, and dirt biking.
