Ali Dianaty

Ali Dianaty is EVP, Chief Product and Technology Officer at MiniMed Group, Inc., with end-to-end responsibility for diabetes technology. He and his team are deeply committed to the diabetes community and take pride in delivering technologies that meaningfully improve people’s lives.

Ali joined Medtronic Diabetes in 2016 where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Product Innovation & Operations at Medtronic Diabetes prior to the company’s separation and IPO as MiniMed Group, Inc. Ali drives a strategy centered on empowering customers, advancing impactful innovation, and ensuring consistent, high-quality manufacturing at scale. Prior to joining Medtronic Diabetes, Ali held roles at St. Jude Medical and The Boeing Company.  

His leadership is grounded in integrity, common sense, and adaptability. He embraces change as a constant, views failure as feedback, and believes growth comes from stepping beyond one’s comfort zone. He is guided by the principle that effort, attitude, and approach determine outcomes—and that true leadership is about leading by example and inspiring others to dream, learn, do, and become more.  

Ali holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, California State University Northridge as well as an MBA from University of California Los Angeles.
