Chad Spooner

Chad is Chief Financial Officer of MiniMed Group, Inc. He is a driven, results-oriented operational finance leader with extensive experience in the manufacturing and healthcare sectors. Throughout his career, he has been committed to building strong personal connections, fostering collaboration, and strengthening organizational relationships to achieve shared goals. 

 Chad joined Medtronic Diabetes as Chief Financial Officer in 2025 and maintained that role through the company’s separation and IPO as MiniMed Group, Inc. Prior to joining Medtronic Diabetes, Chad served as Chief Financial Officer at BIC, a publicly listed company, where he led a global finance organization of nearly 500 professionals and helped shape and execute a five-year transformative profitable growth strategy.  

 Chad recently relocated to the Los Angeles area to be closer to his three children. He enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, and exploring great food with his family.
