Gillian Chandrasena

Gillian Chandrasena is SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer at MiniMed Group, Inc., where she leads the company’s enterprise-wide HR function. A driven, results-oriented leader, she is known for connecting talent and performance to accelerate business outcomes.

Gillian joined Medtronic Diabetes as VP, HR, in 2025 supporting Product Innovation & Quality shortly before stepping into the lead HR role. She led the transition and stand-up of MiniMed’s HR organization through the separation and IPO as MiniMed Group building the people function, governance, and infrastructure required to operate as a standalone public company.

She brings a broad HR and operational leadership career to MiniMed from across both B2B and B2C industries, including roles at Centrica, Brambles, Honeywell, and RWC, an ASX listed building materials company, where she served as Chief People Officer. Across these roles she has helped businesses to grow and scale with long term talent initiatives and by aligning performance and reward. Her early operational experience gives her a distinctive blend of business acumen and functional depth.

Gillian holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Arts in English & Politics, and a Post Graduate Diploma in HR.
