Gillian Chandrasena

Gillian is Vice President of Human Resources (HR) at MiniMed Group, Inc. She is a driven, energetic, and results-oriented leader with a passion for connecting people and performance to accelerate business outcomes. Her early operational experience, combined with deep HR expertise across both B2B and B2C industries—including roles at Centrica, Brambles, and Honeywell—gives her a distinctive blend of business acumen and functional depth.   

Gillian joined Medtronic Diabetes as Vice President of Human Resources in 2025 and has maintained that role through the company’s separation and IPO as MiniMed Group, Inc. In this role, Gillian led the transition and establishment of MiniMed’s enterprise-wide HR function.   

Prior to joining Medtronic Diabetes, Gillian served as Chief People Officer at RWC, a publicly listed building materials company. In that role, she partnered closely with the CEO to build the foundational people function, implementing enterprise-wide talent assessment and succession processes, establishing compensation grading and a globally consistent compensation framework, and developing a global HRIS roadmap.   

Gillian lives in Atlanta with her husband and their two children. As a family, they love spending time outdoors—hiking, camping, traveling, and enjoying everything connected to nature.
