Muthu Sabarethinam
Muthu is Vice President, Data Science & Business Transformation at MiniMed Group, Inc. He is an enterprise transformation leader with deep experience building high-performing business and digital transformation teams, leveraging analytics and AI to drive impact across multiple Fortune 500 companies. He has served as Chief Transformation Officer at Medtronic Diabetes since 2025, and maintained this role through the company’s separation and IPO as MiniMed Group, Inc. In this role, he focuses on sustaining double-digit growth while improving gross margins and free cash flow through scaled business processes and advanced AI capabilities.
Throughout his career, Muthu has delivered more than $120 million in annual business impact through large-scale transformation programs. Prior to joining Medtronic Diabetes, Muthu served as Vice President and Chief Data Officer at Honeywell Connected Enterprise, where he led the AI strategy for FORGE.AI, launched the company’s first suite of GenAI applications, and earned the Chairman’s Senior Leadership Award for his global impact with data and AI technologies. His earlier experience includes roles at TE Connectivity, Infosys and Siemens.
Based in Atlanta with his family, Muthu is an avid motorcyclist and a student pilot in training. He is passionate about supporting causes that drive meaningful social impact, including efforts to end hunger and to advance government transparency through open data.
