SVP, Corporate Development and Strategy
Yael Glassman
Yael is Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at MiniMed Group, Inc., where she leads strategic planning, corporate and business development, M&A, licensing, and partnerships. Most recently, she led the company’s partnership with Abbott Diabetes Care and oversaw MiniMed’s separation from Medtronic Diabetes.
Yael served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Medtronic Diabetes since 2021 and maintained this role through the company’s separation and IPO as MiniMed Group, Inc. She is an entrepreneurial leader with over 20 years of experience in the health sector, and she approaches every role with a startup mindset: lean, creative, and relentlessly focused on solving problems that truly matter.
Before joining Medtronic, she was the CEO of Nutrino Health, a nutrition-science startup she helped build from its earliest days. She guided the company from concept to early revenue, scaled its commercial partnerships, and ultimately led its successful acquisition by Medtronic. After a seamless integration, she continued with Medtronic in broader strategic leadership roles. Earlier in her career, she held senior positions across healthcare technology and telemedicine, including VP of Business Development at Sensible Medical, VP of Marketing and Strategy at AmWell, and Director of Care Management Marketing at TriZetto (later acquired by Cognizant).
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Grin, a tele-dentistry company, and is an active angel investor supporting early-stage founders.
