As part of our ongoing effort to simplify product offerings and introduce our advanced technology, will be discontinuing the sales of the Guardian^TM Link 3 Transmitter and Guardian^TM Sensor 3 to allows us to focus on offering next-generation sensors that provide enhanced accuracy, convenience, and ease of use.

The discontinuation dates for these products are as follows:

Last Guardian^TM Transmitter 3 sale: April 24, 2026
End of Guardian^TM Transmitter 3 replacements: December 31, 2026
Last Guardian^TM Sensor 3 sale: December 31, 2026
End of Guardian^TM Sensor 3 replacements: December 31, 2026

We encourage customers to explore our next-generation CGM technologies, such as Instinct sensor, made by Abbott, Simplera Sync^TM, or Guardian^TM 4 sensors which provide advanced features, including improved accuracy and a more seamless user experience.

Zero Pathway Program

If you have an in-warranty MiniMed^TM 630G, 670G, or MiniMed^TM 770G insulin pump with six or more months remaining on your warranty, you may be eligible to upgrade to the MiniMed™ 780G and Instinct sensor for $0. Terms and conditions apply.

I have an in-warranty Guardian™ Link 3 Transmitter. How will this discontinuation of sales affect me?

There is no need to stop using your transmitter as a result of this communication. However, please be aware of our last sell and last replacement dates to avoid any therapy gaps:

If you have an in-warranty Guardian™ Link 3 Transmitter and require a replacement after December 31, 2026, we will assist you with your transition to another therapy in our portfolio. Check with your healthcare professional to understand what is right for you.

I have an out-of-warranty Guardian™ Link 3 Transmitter. How will this discontinuation of sales affect me?

If your transmitter is out-of-warranty and needs replacement after December 31, 2026, you will not be able to purchase the same model you are currently using. Instead, we will help you transition to another therapy option in our portfolio. Check with your healthcare professional to understand what is right for you.

Do I need to stop using my MiniMed^TM 600 series insulin pump right now?

There is no need to stop using your MiniMed™ 600 series insulin pump at this time. MiniMed will continue to provide support for Guardian™ Sensor 3 through December 31, 2026. After this date, we will be happy to help you transition to another therapy in our portfolio. Can I still order infusion sets and reservoirs for my insulin pump?

Yes. The infusion sets and reservoirs that work with your MiniMed™ 600 series insulin pump are still available.

If I get a new MiniMed™ 780 insulin pump, will I receive training?

Yes. If you get a new insulin pump, we will have training available for you so that you can learn about your new insulin pump.

Do I need a new prescription if I want to upgrade to a new MiniMed™ 780 insulin pump?

Yes, a prescription will be required before you can upgrade to a new insulin pump.

What if my doctor was adamant that I stay on this sensor?

Your healthcare professional has also been notified that we are no longer selling the Guardian™ Link 3 Transmitter and Guardian™ Sensors 3. There is no need to stop using your transmitter or sensors as a result of this communication. However, please be aware of our last sell and last replacement dates to avoid any therapy gaps.

Can I return a Guardian™ Link 3 Transmitter for a refund since you are discontinuing product?

We will accept returns within 30 days of purchase for any of our products. We are committed to ensuring you have what you need to manage your diabetes on your current pump, and our dedication to providing you with exceptional customer service will not change.
