Suspending and resuming insulin delivery

Device: MiniMed Flex^TM insulin pump

Use Suspend all delivery if you need to stop all active basal and bolus insulin deliveries. While insulin delivery is suspended, your pump beeps, vibrates, or both depending on your audio settings. You will get a medium priority alert telling you your pump has been manually suspended for > 30 minutes. This occurs every 15 minutes to remind you that insulin is not being delivered. You will also see a yellow flashing light on the flex pump.

To suspend all insulin delivery

1. From the home screen, tap .
2. Tap Suspend all delivery.

3. A pop up screen will appear to confirm your choice. Tap Suspend all delivery.

You will see a Delivery suspended status banner appear on the Home screen.

To resume all insulin delivery
1. From the home screen, tap .
2. Tap Resume basal delivery.

3. A pop up screen will appear to confirm your choice. Tap Resume basal delivery.

You will be taken back to the Home screen and the Delivery suspended status bar will no longer appear.
